A Message from the CEO

Dear Mortgage House valued customers,

I want to start off by thanking you for the support you continue to show Mortgage House throughout the current crisis that we are all experiencing together. We are operating in unprecedented times and each day brings with it new challenges.

At Mortgage House, we are committed to everyone’s health, safety and wellbeing. We are adhering to all government mandated rules and regulations to help stop the spread of COVID-19, adhering to strict social distancing measures as well, continually updating these measures as necessary.

Our team is working hard, without interruption, to process all requests and keep you updated on changes as soon as they become available to us throughout this period. We continue to operate as normal and there should be no interruption in the various ways you can contact us.

We understand this is a moving target and what you need will continue to change as the situation evolves. We are busy implementing what we can to ensure you have the assistance and support you require so we can help you through this difficult period.

If you are experiencing hardship and have an Advantage Home Loan product (funded by the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank), please call the assistance hotline on 1300 650 259.

If your loan is currently funded by Mortgage House (and you log-in via Loan Pal), please follow the step-by-step guide on what to do below:

Provide evidence of termination or variation of employment conditions (i.e. drop in hours/salary).
Attach the above document/s with your request for the required assistance you are seeking.
Email to hardship@mortgagehouse.com.au.

We will continue to do our best to support you throughout this crisis and will update you regularly as more information is made available to us. If you have a request, please reach out to your lending manager or you can contact our expert lending team on 133 144.

Let’s continue to work together to be part of the solution.

Stay safe and take care,

Ken Sayer

2. What is a Payment Holiday?

A mortgage Payment Holiday is an agreement you might be able to make with your lender, allowing you to temporarily stop or reduce your monthly mortgage repayments.

This option defers your home loan repayments for 3 months. The deferred interest will be capitalised and any deferred principal repayments will need to be paid off during the remainder of your loan term. This means your loan repayments will be higher after the 3 month deferral period.

3. How do I apply for a Payment Holiday?

Please follow the steps above OR you can contact the assistance line on 1300 650 259.

4. How is Mortgage House navigating through this time with their existing clients?
